Be part of Deni Fest

Edward River Council and South West Arts are working together to present Deni Fest, an arts and culture festival for Deniliquin and we would like you to be part of it.

Deni Fest will run from Thursday 13 April to Monday 17 April 2017 and will encompass all the well-loved arts and cultural activities that happen in Deniliquin over Easter, including the Rotary Easter Art Show and the ArtOut artisan market, as well as the new Rhythm, Blues and Jazz Festival on Easter Sunday. There will also be a free picnic concert from South West Music, performances from the Deniliquin Bush Poets Society and exhibitions by the Australian Plein-Air Artists Group.

Deni Fest will encourage everyone locally to get out there and enjoy some arts and culture and will also highlight to tourists why Deniliquin is such a great place to visit at Easter.

We are inviting local businesses and community groups to get involved by including arts and culture activities in their shops and venues over the weekend.

Here are some ideas of what you could do:

  • Host a live band in your shop, café or venue

  • Hire an artist to hold a casual art class in your business

  • Turn your store window into a gallery space

  • Hold an open-mic event

If your business or group would like to include an activity in the Festival program, please contact Sivonne Binks at South West Arts – or call 0438 417 608
