Art After Dark - Term 1 2017

The popular Art After Dark classes with Jan Harris are returning on Wednesday this week.

This term Art After Dark students will be working towards creating a simple still life in graphite (black and white) or in colour depending on your preference and ability. To be able to paint a still life you need to know about composition.

Each night students will spend some time on learning techniques or skills which they will then apply with some easy and some quite difficult challenges depending on their skill level. Time is also set aside each night to work on your own project, or work on the new skills that you have gained.

Wednesdays at the Multi-Arts Hall, Deniliquin from 7.00pm to 9.00pm

The fee is $10 per night, and new members $25.00 which takes you through to June 2018, covering insurance etc.

A list of basics will also be provided, and there are pencils and pastels to try on the night. Charcoal and butchers paper will be the beginning medium, and these are all at the hall so you can use them if you do not have your own.

For more information contact Jan Harris on 0416 118 761.
