Deni Fest 2018 program


Deni Fest 2018 is fast approaching and this year's event will include the Rotary Easter Art Show, the ArtOut artisan market, a free picnic concert from South West Music and performances from the Deniliquin Bush Poets Society. Local hotels, clubs and cafes will once again put the focus on live music events, which were so well attended last year.

Exhibitions

  • Rotary Easter Arts Show Showcasing the region’s best artists, this is the biggest show of works by the Edward River Arts Society.

  • Plane Necessity Exhibition Commemorating the WW11 RAAF No.7SFTS Deniliquin

Markets

  • Art Out Market - Saturday Find something special made by the region’s best artisans and makers.

  • Multicultural Food Market - Saturday Bring your family and try foods from all over the world. 9am - 1pm in Waring Gardens (near the rotunda)

  • Mathoura Easter Fair - Saturday With kids entertainment, egg hunt and bonnet parade.

  • Lions Club Community Market - Monday Market stalls, food and music.

Music

  • Deni Showcase - This free South West Music picnic concert fetaures local musicians Shane and Ellie McGrath and Rachael Allitt and the Smokin’ Guns

  • Duzel & Beveridge - Hailing from the Gisborne area, this duo play a mixture of covers and originals.

  • Darren Cossar & The Smokin’ Guns - Talented local Deni band

  • Mark Peterson Duo - Hailing from the Echuca area, this duo plays a mixture of cruisy covers and originals

  • Film Screening Deniliquin Film Society is presenting a free outdoor screening of Australian comedy, ‘They're a Weird Mob’ - Friday at 7pm

  • Bush Poet’s Society - Poetry readings The Deniliquin Bush Poets will perform poetry from their mobile ‘silo-stage’. - Saturday at 8am - 10.30am

  • Book launch ‘Kawir & Kuthun’ Yarkuwa Indigenous Knowledge Centre are launching their children’s book Kawir & Kuthun. With story readings and book signings. - Saturday at 11am
