Take Art on Tuesdays Exhibition

 

 

This exhibition will showcase the creativity and learning of the particpants in' Take Art On Tuesdays' held at The Foundry Arts Space. Over the past 12 months the students have explored a range of processes, mediums and techniques through drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, mixed media and other contemporary art practices.
 

Students had worked through structured, expressive and imaginative classes with comprehensive exposure to visual art and culture.  Each term a new theme is suggested for the creation of their art. These themes include: Bring In The Clowns; Catching Fish And Other Water Creatures; Splash!; The Built Environment; Dear Data; Portraits With Pets; Alone And In A Crowd; and The Horse.

 

Come along on Thursday 14 June at 5pm to celebrate their achievements and be surprised by the strong body of work that these young talented artists and the adult participants have produced. 

 

Artist and tutor Bronwyn Beer will be exhibition her visual responses to the themes provided too.

 

The exhibition runs from Thursday 14 June to Sunday 24 June 2018.
